YHWH Is One - The Tanakh Texts

These are the Tanakh texts that assert clearly that YHWH is one and there is no others but him.

1         Then he said, "Tomorrow." So he said, "May it be according to your word, that you may know that there is no one like the YHWH our Mighty One. (Exodus 8:10)

2         "For this time I will send all my plagues on you and your servants and your people, so that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth. (Exodus 9:14)

3         "To you it was shown that you might know that YHWH, he is the Mighty One; there is no other besides Him. (Deuteronomy 4:35)

4         "Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that YHWH, he is the Mighty One in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. (Deuteronomy 4:39)

5         "Hear, O Yisra’yl! YHWH is our Mighty One, YHWH is one! (Deuteronomy 6:4)

6         See now that I, I am he, And there is no Mighty One besides me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded, and it is I who heal; And there is no one who can deliver from my hand. (Deuteronomy 32:39)

7         "There is none like the Mighty One of Jeshurun, Who rides the heavens to your help, And through the skies in his majesty. (Deuteronomy 33:26)

8         "There is no one Qodesh like YHWH, Indeed, there is no one besides you, Nor is there any rock like our Mighty One. (1 Samuel 2:2)

9         "For this reason you are great, O YHWH Mighty One; for there is none like you, and there is no Mighty One besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. (2 Samuel 7:22)

10      And he said, "O YHWH, Mighty One of Yisra’yl, there is no Mighty One like you in heaven above or on earth beneath, who are keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to your servants who walk before you with all their heart, (1 Kings 8:23)

11      So that all the peoples of the earth may know that YHWH is Mighty One; there is no one else. (1 Kings 8:60)

12      He trusted in YHWH, the Mighty One of Yisra’yl; so that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Y’hudah, nor among those who were before him. (2 Kings 18:5)

13      "O YHWH, there is none like you, neither is there any Mighty One besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. (1 Chronicles 17:20)

14      And he said, "O YHWH, Mighty One of Yisra’yl, there is no Mighty One like you in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to your servants who walk before you with all their hearts;" (2 Chronicles 6:14)

15      Many, O YHWH my mighty One, are the wonders which you have done, And your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with you; If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count. (Psalm 40:5)

16      There is no one like you among the gods, O YHWH; Nor are there any works like yours. (Psalm 86:8)

17      "You are my witnesses," declares YHWH, "And my servant whom I have chosen, In order that you may know and believe me, And understand that I am he. Before me there was no Mighty One formed, And there will be none after me. I, even I, am YHWH; And there is no savior besides me." (Isaiah 43:10-11)

18      "Thus says YHWH, the King of Yisra’yl And his Redeemer, the YHWH of hosts: `I am the first and I am the last, And there is no Mighty One besides Me.'" (Isaiah 44:6)

19      Do not tremble and do not be afraid; Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are my witnesses. Is there any Mighty One besides Me, Or is there any other Rock? I know of none.'" (Isaiah 44:8)

20      "I am YHWH, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me; That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides me. I am YHWH, and there is no other," (Isaiah 45:5-6)

21      Thus says YHWH, "The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush and the Sabeans, men of stature, Will come over to you and will be yours; They will walk behind you, they will come over in chains and will bow down to you; They will make supplication to you: `Surely, the Mighty One is with you, and there is none else, No other Mighty One.'" (Isaiah 45:14)

22      For thus says YHWH, who created the heavens (He is the Mighty One who formed the earth and made it, he established it and did not create it a waste place, But formed it to be inhabited), "I am YHWH, and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:18)

23      "Declare and set forth your case; Indeed, let them consult together. Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, YHWH? And there is no other Mighty One besides Me, A righteous Mighty One and a Savior; There is none except me. Turn to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am YHWH, and there is no other." (Isaiah 45:21-22)

24      "Remember the former things long past, For I am YHWH, and there is no other; I am YHWH, and there is no one like Me, (Isaiah 46:9)

25      There is none like you, O YHWH; you are great, and great is your name in might. (Jeremiah 10:6)

26      Yet I have been YHWH your Mighty One since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any Mighty One except Me, For there is no savior besides Me. (Hosea 13:4)

27      "Thus you will know that I am in the midst of Yisra’yl, And that I am YHWH your Mighty One and there is no other; And my people will never be put to shame. (Joel 2:27)

28      "Do we not all have one father? Has not one Mighty One created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers? (Malachi 2:10)
